Food teaching in secondary schools: knowledge and skills framework
Support for secondary schools to implement the requirements for food teaching within the new National Curriculum for Design and technology (D&T) in England, the GCSE Food preparation and Nutrition and the Core Competences for Children and Young People.
For both stages of education the framework is to be used:

- Audit current practice by existing teachers, supporting performance related development
- Support professional reviews with colleagues
- Plan and run professional training course to support best practice
These resources are part of part of the School Food initiative.
