Haringey Council’s Public Health Department is seeking to recruit an experienced and dynamic commissioner to lead on health improvement services/interventions to tackle the life expectancy gap within Haringey. This is a new post created to span a number of health improvement services to tackle smoking, obesity, physical inactivity and public mental health. The post will work with an exciting array of providers including leading on working with primary care contracts.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our strong, stable public health team. The post will be part of the team with public health commissioning responsibilities for sexual health, drug and alcohol and children’s services – allowing for effective matrix-working and sharing of best practice.
