We are looking for someone committed to sex and relationships education to step in while our National Coordinator is away on maternity leave.

The Sex Education Forum is a membership organisation hosted by the National Children’s Bureau which works together with its members and other stakeholders to achieve quality sex and relationships education (SRE). Established in 1987, we believe that ALL children and young people have the right to good SRE.

Our work on SRE is underpinned by evidence, a rights-based approach and the expressed needs of children and young people.

Joining us from end of September 2016 to July 2017, you will provide national leadership for the sex education sector.  This is a diverse and exciting role in which you will represent the Sex Education Forum, working with our membership to influence policy, legislation and practice, campaign on relevant issues, work with the media as well as grow our training and continue the fundraising that we need to sustain our priorities.

Our ideal candidate will need significant specialist knowledge and national standing in the area of sex and relationships education along with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. You will be able to negotiate and influence at a senior level and successfully project manage and deliver a varied programme of work. Along with campaigns experience you will also able to demonstrate your fundraising and media skills.

Job Location: Flexible, with frequent travel to Central London.
