We’re looking for a director for public health who shares our passion and our approach and who will shape the role of the council, working with NHS commissioners and providers, and other service providers, to improve health and well-being in a social context as well as clinical one. Can you lead changes that come from the grassroots and be passionate about empowering communities to improve their own health? Can you help us plan for a future where we will have more older people and more people with disabilities and play a lead role in preventing avoidable disability and disease? Medway sees innovative and challenging public health as an essential factor in achieving our vision to make Medway a great place to live, work and visit. We need an ambassador for our radical approach and someone with the drive to help us deliver this vision.
