Job description

We are looking for an appropriately qualified public health professional with a passion for public health and experience in leading strategic development, partnerships and projects.

The post holder will be responsible for specific health improvement, health protection and healthcare public health programmes. A key purpose of the role will be to provide Consultant in Public Health support to the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

You will join a small but dedicated and committed team, bringing professional credibility and leadership to engage, support and develop the public health team and other teams across the Council and work with elected Members and the Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group.
