The first part of the presentation will consider the value of recorded music for the rehabilitation of people post stroke. The second will examine the value of group and care-giver singing for people affected by dementia.
This work is of considerable significance to the field of arts, health and wellbeing. It begins to place the value of musical interventions in health and social care on a secure scientific foundation.
