2nd Alcohol and Drugs Education is Schools Conference

The 2^nd Alcohol and Drugs Education in Schools Conference organised by the Alcohol Education Trust and Mentor will take place at Liverpool John Moores University on the 21^st June 2018. Keynote speaker Andy Burnham, Mayor of Manchester, will present his priorities for health in Manchester.  A selection of speakers will look at trends in underage use of alcohol or drugs and at early interventions, using social norms approaches. The afternoon will consist of practical workshops, including the top 10 principles for implementing effective alcohol and drugs education and a 2 hour familiarisation workshop on implementing the Talk About Alcohol programme.
