The MRC Epidemiology Unit/CEDAR is seeking to appoint a post-doctoral Research Associate with an interest and experience in reducing sedentary time and promoting physical activity in adolescents.

The available 3-year post is within the Behavioural Epidemiology Programme, led by Dr Esther van Sluijs, which aims to improve the understanding of how to promote sustained active living in young people. The research area will focus on developing and testing secondary school-based environmental interventions to reduce sedentary time or promote physical activity. The post holder will use quantitative and qualitative research methods to guide intervention development and evaluation. In addition, the post holder will communicate regularly with a variety of stakeholders and members of the public.
