The Alcohol Education Trust is seeking to employ a part-time coordinator to lead its teacher and parental outreach in the North East
Part of the AET’s remit is to offer schools and communities the opportunity to receive ongoing regional advice and support, to undergo training on how to use the talkaboutalcohol programme as well as hosting ‘talking to kids about alcohol’ sessions for parents/carers. The role will also involve presenting to local PSHE professionals, local authorities, Public Health and relevant social media networks and groups.
The talkaboutalcohol programme for 11- 18 year olds is PSHE Association quality assured and awarded 3/3 for effectiveness by The DfE appointed CAYT Mentor Adepis. The position will be home based, but the candidate must be willing to travel throughout the North East and to make some evening presentations. 15-21 hours a week with a bonus for any evening parent/carer seminars delivered.
