National Food Strategy: urgent and robust government support is needed

We welcome the publication of the National Food Strategy report as it quite rightly includes sections on food production, education, marketing, and supporting those on low incomes.12 This government has indicated that it will consider the report and respond with a white paper within six months. With high and rising rates of obesity, we believe that this action should be sooner.
