Promoting Mental Health and Wellbeing: Current Evidence and Practice. How Can I Contribute?
Date: May 15th 2019, 10am – 4pm
Venue: Coventry University (Richard Crossman Building: Jordan Well, CV1)
Join us in addressing this issue at our national Conference where we will be learning from a range of speakers about some of the most current and effective mental health promotion interventions. Contributions will be focussed on parents, carers and children, young people, the workplace, and on influencing mental health through community action and the broader determinants of health
We welcome those involved in public health and in mental health promotion, mental health commissioners, practitioners and those working on the wider determinants of health which can influence mental health and wellbeing.
We would like to invite submissions for potential poster presentations at the Conference. Please submit an abstract of no more than 200 words outlining the subject of your poster presentations. All submissions need to be in line with the Conference theme and can include subjects such as mental health in later years and difficult to reach groups. Presentations can report on research projects or on projects in practice and community settings. Abstracts can be submitted anytime until 1 March 2019. All abstracts will be peer reviewed and you will be notified of acceptance by 15 March at the latest. Specific guidance for the posters will be circulated when abstracts are accepted. Abstracts should be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org
