IHPE member: Sheila Merrill

Sheila is a trained home economist, a qualified trainer, a registered public health practitioner with the UKHR, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health.

She has worked with RoSPA since1989 and is currently the Public Health Advisor in the Strategic Partnerships Division.

She is responsible for the development and delivery of RoSPA’s strategic plans for public health and home safety taking a lead in working with Government Departments in developing and responding to Government consultations.

Current key priorities include:

  • Raising the profile of accident prevention within Public Health
  • Safer Homes government contract
  • Blind Cord Campaigns
  • Nappy sack campaign
  • Household poisoning campaign
