Mike recently joined the Council of the Institute. We look forward to drawing on his experience of 25 years of working in organisational change.

“My career change has been inspired by undertaking a BSc in psychology with the Open University,” says Mike. “More than anything the OU experience prompted me to think differently about how behaviour change interventions can be put to use in health settings.  I am planning to take a Masters in Health Psychology in September 2015, with further plans to become a registered Health Psychologist through undertaking a Professional Doctorate in the same field.”

He adds: “As well as running my own business as a consultant and trainer, I am currently volunteering the Public Health department in Stoke-on-Trent, working on their city-wide health literacy project.”
